The Soundbox project was kicked started by results from a consultation ran by the Soundbox partnership back in 2009. Soundbox is a youth project formed in partnership with the Police, Safer Community Team and South Northants Homes, together we host events at Vision to reduce anti-social behaviour and giving young people a voice in the community.

Each Soundbox event has an educational theme to help promote awareness about the issues that affect young people such as mental health, sexual health and drug and alcohol awareness.

The youth steering group plan the events together with the Soundbox partnership, they select the themes, run the activities and staff the events.

Legal Wall

Permission was given in 2010 for a trial piece of aerosol art to be created on the outside of Vision, this proved very successful and with further petitions signed by young people, extensive community consultation and ALOT of hard work the wall was built.

The legal wall not only gives young people an opportunity to express themselves but also gives a rare opportunity to benefit from the first legal wall to be set up in a rural community over the last two years we have ran numerous aerosol art workshops on the legal wall and young people have developed a passion and great talent for street art, take a look…. We think its FAB!
